Glass veil (120 g/m2) provides permanent reinforcement of the bituminous surfaces, improves their dimension durability, protects the roof against decaying and improves water resistance. Thanks to the neutrality of glass veil it can be used as a separation layer for use under pliable PVC tiles.
Glass veil isn’t prone to atmospheric conditions (UV radiation), doesn’t degrade and retains its dimensions. Porous surface of the veil allows impregnation; apart from that, veil has additional characteristics: good chemical resistance, perfect water resistance; it is an anti-corrosive surface and it’s fire-proof. Veil also retains necessary dimensions and increases fire resistance.
